What's for lunch?
I'm told these were silkworms, obviously worms of some sort. Crunchy on the outside and then a texture I didn't like on the inside. I only ate one and had the snails instead.

Daily market in Hoi An
The city retains much of its French colonial past. The daily local market is lively. Here it is from the wonderful coffee shop Cheryl found for us. Real cappucino and fresh warm delicate croissants.
Vietnam!
I retired from blogging once I got to HCMC (Ho Chi Minh City, official name of city those of us in the U S call Saigon. Along with the other oppressive actions the US has done is to Anglicize the spelling of Viet Nam, Sai Gon, Ha Noi, etc. There are no multi syllabic words in Vietnamese and my friend and staunch Veteran for Peace friend reminded me that it is a sign of respect to spell the names correctly.

Sydney Fish Market is the 2nd largest in the world
Jeff and Marty, you would love this place. So would Cathy. Different seafood than Seattle. Lots of kinds of shrimp. Lots of sushi, high end cheese store and a bread shop. I had grilled Barramunfi, a local fish I had before but this was the best. Wild Barramundi is protected part of the year but farmed year round.

We searched the forests in Lamington National Park for Green Catbirds. They are large and green and stay high in the canopy and we got some silhouetted looks but we could hear them. The sound like cats alright, cats that are being strangled.

Whe we were at the Chambers Resort in the Atherton Tablelands the Spotted Green Catbird yelled at us but then came down to the porch and ate the fruit we put out.
