It was like getting to Mecca

Birders will know what I mean when I say that I was at Sapsucker Woods today at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in Ithaca New York. State of the art research comes from here as do the ebird and Merlin apps. And they have a sense of humor too.

    So glad you made it! There's a birdfeeder with webcam I watch from Sapsucker Woods. Has a pond in the background. Perhaps the same pond in the picture?
